Lily Bernal
Team Assistant EU Policy
Lily Bernal is Team Assistant EU Policy at Agora Energiewende. She supports the administration of grants and provides daily assistance for the EU Policy team. Lily joined the Agora Energiewende team in Brussels in 2024.
Prior to joining Agora, Lily worked for the President of the House of Representatives in Colombia, the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy, the International Republican Institute and the OECD's Open Governance Division. She has experience in advocacy, supervision of contracts, grants and subawards, fundraising and PMEL. Lily co-authored publications on political guarantees for the opposition, women's and youth representation and provided technical support for public institutions at national and local level to adopt strategies to increase citizen participation and strengthen democracy.
Lily studied Political Science and holds a master’s degree in International Affairs as well in Management.
