Maia Haru Hall

Maia Haru Hall is part of the Communications team at Agora Think Tanks (Agora Energiewende, Agora Industry, and Agora Agriculture). As International Communications Manager, Maia collaborates with several teams on topics such as power system transformation, as well as with international partners, to strategically communicate their work. Based in Berlin, Maia also works on global media outreach and publications.

Before joining Agora in 2024, Maia worked for the International Carbon Action Partnership and the think tank and consultancy adelphi, working on carbon pricing policies with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to that, she worked for the Kyoto Prefectural Government in Japan on communications and international relations. Maia holds an MA in Linguistics and Japanese from the University of Edinburgh and a master of public policy with a focus on climate and energy policy from the Hertie School in Berlin.
