Senior Associate, Energy Infrastructure and Gas

Megan Anderson is the Senior Associate, Energy Infrastructure and Gas at Agora Energiewende. She identifies, leads, and supports projects that address the overlap and connections across sectors to enable an energy system approach critical for meeting Europe’s climate neutrality goals.

Prior to joining Agora, Megan Anderson worked at the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP) for five years, first in the United States and then in RAP’s Europe program. Her work with RAP covered numerous aspects of the energy system transformation including energy transition in rural cooperatives, energy efficiency and demand side flexibility, integrated planning and the transition away from gas in both the US and Europe. Before RAP, Megan Anderson worked for about 15 years as an attorney representing NGOs before state regulatory agencies and in federal litigation under US environmental laws.
