Zhihao Ren

Zhihao Ren is currently working as Operations Assistant at Agora Energy China, Beijing office. 

He began his career as an Assistant Manager at China Zheshang Bank Co., Ltd. In this role, he was responsible for assessing creditworthiness, managing loan portfolios, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Zhihao then served as a chairman’s assistant at a power supply company for over four years. In this position, he oversaw daily operations and coordinated executive schedules. His responsibilities also included implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and compliance, as well as managing enterprise risk by identifying potential threats and developing mitigation plans.

Zhihao holds the China National Senior Management Accountant certification (CNMA) and is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) as well as an associate of the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA). Zhihao holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from San Francisco State University and a master's degree in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University
