Alex Mykhailenko
Analyst for Electricity and Renewable Energies at the DiXi Group, Clean Energy Lab
Oleksii Mykhailenko is an expert on renewable energies and the electricity sector at the DiXi Group, a Ukrainian think tank on energy. Further, he is co-founder of the Clean Energy Lab, a think tank focusing on renewable energy in Ukraine. After graduating with a Master of Finance from Kyiv National Economic University in Kiev, Oleksii worked in auditing and for an oil and gas company before moving in the independent and non-governmental sector. Since 2016, he’s focusing his work on the electricity sector, in particular renewable energy economy and policy.
The topic Oleksii is working on during his EnerTracks Fellowship is the integration of renewable energies into the power grid, namely how to overcome technical and financial constraints and develop sustainable strategies.
