Deon Arinaldo
Energy Information Specialist and Researcher at the Institut for Essential Services Reform, Institute for Essential Services Reform
Deon Arinaldo is part of the research team of the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR), an Indonesian based think tank with the mission to accelerate the transition of the country to a low carbon energy system. He is responsible for the design and implementation of research, policy analysis and the management of the research team's data to support the work of the IESR. Deon holds a Master in Sustainable Energy Engineering. He graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) in Australia, where he studied energy system designs, energy efficiency, and energy policy.
During the EnerTracks Fellowship programme, he will focus on modelling Indonesia's energy transition in terms of the impacts on energy, the economy and society.
