Ngan Nguyen Hoang

Ngan Hoang Nguyen is a professional in the field of climate change and just transition working on policy advocacy, strategies, alliance building. Currently she co-leads "Green Youth Lab project", a three-year training programme for innovation and a socially equitable energy transition, which aims to harness the creative potential of young people to develop innovative low carbon model projects and introduce them as future leaders to a low-carbon transformation of society. In her previous role as project coordinator of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung regional Climate and Energy project, Ngan contributed to strengthening civil society, academia and trade union organizations in engaging with government leaders to create inclusive and more ambitious policies. She enjoys working on international and regional projects that facilitate cross country knowledge exchange and alliance building, which inspires her in development and implementation of Just Transition Forum in Asia 2021 and regional review on energy and gender. During her Enertracks Fellowship, she will research on promotion of community-based energy solutions through human interest stories. Ngan Hoang Nguyen holds a MA in communication studies from University of Muenster
