Phimsupha Kokchang
Researcher, Energy Research Institute
Phimsupha Kokchang is a researcher at the Energy Research Institute of Chulalongkorn University. Her current work is related to the design and implementation of research studies focused on energy policy, energy economics, and new business models related to energy system transformation. She is currently working on projects to provide economic and technical support to the Thai Ministry of Energy related to the new market structure of energy trading towards distributed generation, risk and impact assessments of financial investment on solar rooftops, and an energy transition project, Clean Affordable and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia (CASE) with GIZ and Agora Energiewende. She holds a Ph.D. in Environment, Development and Sustainability from Chulalongkorn University and an M.Sc. in Energy from Heriot-watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. She earned her B.Sc. in Engineering Management from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University.
