Veeraya Imcharoenkul

Veeraya Imcharoenkul is a researcher. She has been the research assistant in many projects cooperating with Thai energy authorities. Her research interests include VRE integration, power system planning, energy economics, and energy policy. Her passion is to analyze the challenges of integrating variable renewable energy (VRE) into electrical systems from both technical and economic perspectives.During the EnerTracks Fellowship, Veeraya will research on market designing and policymaking to mitigate the impact of VRE integration on total system costs and electricity generation revenue. Veeraya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Second Class Honours) from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University. She is also pursuing her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with Chulalongkorn University.
