Xinyi Shen
Global Campaigner at Greenpeace East Asia in Beijing, China, Greenpeace
Xinyi Shen is a Global Campaigner at the Air Pollution Unit in the Climate and Energy Department of Greenpeace East Asia in Beijing. There, Xinyi leads the global push against air pollution and supports the China low carbon transition project. She has been involved in projects assessing the overcapacities of coal-fired power plants and steel industry in China, and several other regional and global air pollution projects. During her stay at Agora Energiewende as an EnerTracks Fellow, she will work on what can be learned from the German Coal Commission to accelerate China’s energy transition.
Xinyi holds a Master degree in Environmental Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing and a Bachelor degree in Environmental Science from Zhejiang University.
