Applications open for EnerTacks Study Tour this summer
Agora Energiewende and the Renewables Academy (RENAC) open the application process for the fourth EnerTracks Study Tour. From June 15 - 26, 2020 the selected candidates will participate in trainings to cover key concepts on how to create an integrated decarbonisation roadmap, enhance their stakeholder engagement skills, and receive an introduction to electricity system modelling. The application period is now open until April 5, 2020.
Join the fourth EnerTracks Study Tour in Berlin from June 15 – 26, 2020 hosted by Agora Energiewende and the Renewables Academy (RENAC). The programme provides a unique opportunity for climate and energy transformation thought leaders from low- and middle-income countries to participate in a series of tailored workshops, field trips, leadership training, and group work to develop a decarbonisation roadmap.
What to expect:
- Learn how to create a comprehensive decarbonisation roadmap
- Role play: explore realistic situations and explore different stakeholder interactions
- Meeting solar/wind-farm owners
- Discover how to creatively solve complex problems through design thinking
- Receiving a compressed introductory training into electricity system modeling to the numerical modeling of power markets and systems

We are aware of the dynamic situation around COVID-19 and are following global news and announcements carefully. We hope to invite participants to the EnerTracks Fellowship planned for May-June 2020 and the Study Tour in June 2020. However, we are mindful that these activities might need to be postponed.

The EnerTracks training programme was developed by Agora Energiewende in cooperation with the Renewables Academy (RENAC) supported by the International Climate Change Initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Nukleare Sicherheit).
