Steffen Verheyen

Steffen Verheyen joined Agora Energiewende in July 2023 as Project Officer for Climate-Neutral Buildings in the Brussels Office. Prior to this he gained practical experience working with the Competence Centre for Climate and Social Justice of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Brussels. Moreover, he completed internships at the European Parliament and the State Parliament of North-Rhine Westphalia. He also worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Münster for several years.

Steffen Verheyen holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Münster. Before, he completed his bachelor studies in Political Science and Economics in Münster and Strasbourg.
