Yu-Chi Chang
Project Officer
Yu-Chi Chang works as a Project Officer in the International Energy Data and Modelling Hub of Agora Think Tanks (Agora Energiewende, Agora Industry and Agora Agriculture). Before he has been working as student assistant in the same team for 2 years. He completed his Master's degree in Global Production Engineering at TU Berlin. His master thesis involved a development of a spatial optimisation model for estimating wind energy potential taking into account LCOE and transmission extensions.
Before joining Agora and also prior to moving to Germany, Yu-Chi served as a technical project lead in energy and petrochemical industry for three and a half years. He gained technical expertise in energy engineering by working on global EPC projects in the fields of CSP, cogeneration, LNG and CCGT power plants. During this time, he also gained international exposure by working on various multicultural teams.
Yu-Chi holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University. The main focus of his bachelor includes energy conversion systems and engineering.
